A CODE OF CONDUCT BASED ON RESPECT
Konover Construction is committed to sound, proactive governance that starts with compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing our business. But more than that, we conduct our daily business with integrity and a commitment to working respectfully with our employees, our clients, our trade contractors and vendors, our peers, and the communities in which we work.
Corporate Governance Practices
- Mission Statement
KCC is a relationship-driven organization characterized by integrity, dependability, and fairness in our dealings with employees, clients, vendors, and partners.
- EEO/Affirmative Action Policy
- Licensure
KCC holds a valid General Contractor or Major Contractor's license, as required, for each state in which we work
- State and Municipal Contractor Prequalification Programs
KCC annually requests and receives certification by state and municipal agencies overseeing the prequalification of construction services firms. These annual certifications, such as the State of Connecticut Contractor Prequalification Program, evaluate our integrity, the experience of our firm and the skills and qualifications of our project staff, our financial stability, and our safety performance.
- Department of Labor requirements
The construction industry requires extensive documentation of compliance with state and federal labor laws. KCC complies with all Department of Labor and other federal requirements, and requires our subcontractors to provide all required documentation prior to working on our projects.
